Pupils+Ink

A miscellany of drawings by Gerren Lamson.

Continuing the nature-inspired illustration series that I started in August 2012, I produced a Frank Lloyd Wright quote as an 8×10 white on kraft screen print. I mixed the lettering with an illustration of Frank’s Falling Water house, and elaborated on the details a bit more than usual. I’ve added a few shots of the original drawing and screen printing process for your enjoyment, too.

Available for sale in the Satchel & Sage shop.

HandDeco is a family of 4 hand-crafted sans serif display fonts inspired by the workhorse typefaces of early 20th century Art Deco era. The HandDeco font family captures the spirit of historic geometric letterforms, and comes in four visual styles — Regular, Outline, Bold, and Shadow. The entire 4-font family is also available in my Creative Market shop. Cheers!

Recently, I turned a set of hand-drawn lettering into a full alphabet which then resulted in a brand new 4-font family called Bangarang — available in my Creative Market shop.

It’s a family of 4 extended sans serif display typefaces that were drawn by hand. Imbued with the spirit of historic hand-painted signage, Bangarang comes in a few useful styles — Regular, Inline, Shadow, and Double (Inline and Shadow combo).

It mixes a classic uppercase extended typeface style with a bold, hand-crafted feel that’s popular in Neverland — making it great for us in headlines, logos, labels, short phrases, and much more.

Each font contains 127 glyphs in every .TTF file, and makes it much easier for you to fight, fly, and crow like Pan in your design projects.

Recently, Morgana and I collaborated on a drawing of a cacti mix and turned it into the latest addition to our wood art collection — Desert Garden.
